Durotimi Femi Babatunde hails from Ekinrin - Ijumu LGA in Kogi State. He attended Kogi State Polytechnic and the famous art school in Nigeria, the Federal Polytechnic Auchi, Edo State where he obtained his National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in Painting from 2005-2010. His painting technique of is “Interlockism” ultimate concept of African modern art. He has participated in several group exhibitions such as Life in My City 20017, Timeless Treasure a 2013, 100 Reasons Nigeria 2013 etc. Dorutimi was the third winner of 2013, 100 Reasons Nigeria-2013 visual art competition titled “Nigerians Tribute to Lorca” organised by the embassy of Spain in Abuja. He also won third prise in 2014 visual art competition organised by National Gallery of Art. He is a member of Society of Nigerian Artist (SNA), Abuja.
